President Jimmy Carter the Muslim Brotherhood of Egypt is Nothing to be Afraid of

Former U.S. president Jimmy Carter announced he believed the Egyptian military likely to obey will of people. During a seminar at the LBJ Library Carter spoke about developments in the Middle East including the uprising in Egypt that led to Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak's ousting.

Carter asserted that his foundation, the Carter Center, will be as involved as possible in bringing about successful Egyptian elections in September adding the demonstrators will not accept anything less than honest, fair and open elections.

Carter, the 39th president, won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002 for his work on international affairs and his efforts to promote peace, democracy and economic development in other countries.

Characterized as the president most associated with the Middle East, after brokering a peace accord between Egypt and Israel in 1978, the former president asserted he believed the Muslim Brotherhood the country’s most popular opposition may influence Egypt in the future. He stressed that the Brotherhood is not anything to be afraid of in the upcoming political situation in Egypt adding that the group was genuine in its demonstration of desire for freedom and true democracy.

The real challenge after the sudden departure of this country president is the new system that will be instilled.

The Egyptian Uprising is Getting Stupid and the Copts Using it For Religious Propaganda

Enough for this stupid uprising that is going no where. It is clear there is nothing for Islam in this uprising and it is totally secular then they can go to hell. The poverty will remain no matter what will be the government. Egypt has large population with limited natural resources to feed itself. The economy is ruined with such economic paralysis and the collapse of the tourist industry. With slogans no religious and no political the spirituality of this uprising went to bunker and there is no need for any support for them.
In the mean time the Copts are planning to use these demonstrations for their purposes with huge choral chanting, hymns, loud prayers for Mary and her son and for raising crosses.
This uprising should be condemned from now on.

Iraq Deadly Kirkuk Bomb Caught on Camera February-09-2011 Bad Image to Muslims

A suicide bomber and some booby-trapped cars blew up in the oil-rich Iraqi city of Kirkuk Wednesday. Officials said at least 7 were killed and 80 wounded.
All such things harm the image of Muslims and Islam and also this is again against the teaching of Muslim religion and principles.
This feeds also on the danger of Christian missionaries and satellites efforts to convert Muslims and portray Islam as bad religion.

The Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt has long rooted history and has the support of a large segment of population. On the other hand it is band and her members are arrested and jailed and sentenced for many long years. Any time when a political force exists without a presentation and worse if it is band this brings about a potential instability which leads to upheaval. Although the Muslim brotherhood had a past that can't be honored they were very much persecuted for the most part. The Muslim brotherhood has mellowed through the years and even to excess and as such they deserve full recognition including establishing recognized political party. The Muslim brotherhood although powerful they projected to have no more than 20% or 25% of seats in the legislation body at best. So the scare that they can seize power is hollow and in piratical sense during election battles they are expected very strong opponents of various walks of lives such as rich industrialists, government ministers and officials and other society illuminaries. So the talk they can sweep the Parliaments and gain control of the government is very far from reality.
So the Muslim brotherhood needs to be recognized as a legitimate political party and in the mean time its imprisoned members need to be released.

Syria Needs an Uprising Like Egypt to Restore Democracy and Religious Rights for Muslims

The government control all aspects of their lives and has complete say of what religious sermons should be. No Islamic newspapers, journals, daily or weekly or any such magazines are allowed. One can sum that up is the nationalization of Islam to serve the secularist rulers and Assad.

Settlement of Egypt Crises is through Conference for All Political Powers

The only viable solution to end this mess, destruction, economic collapse and blood shed is through arranging for conference where all political parties to participate. Mubarak Massive Arrest of the Muslim Brotherhood Over the Past Years Unfounded and Dictatorial

The massive arrest of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt over the years and vanquishing them from Egypt Parliament accelerated the soon down fall of Hosney Mubarak 30 years of absolute power regime. Now he is paying the price why he was afraid that they win few seats in the parliament? They did no harm when they had 88 seats in the previous parliament. They represent very mild form of Islam very far from that of Iran Shiism.
The only criticism of the Muslim brotherhood is perhaps their talk about abrogating the Camp David agreement between Egypt and Israel which is very foolish to think even about it. Another criticism they focus their efforts on the internal affairs of Egypt and avoid to the best they can on Gaza and related issues.

The Egyptian Copts flexing their muscles and assuming invincible position in Egypt they targeting the Muslim Brotherhead and smearing it. Although their religiosity and fanaticism are steaming and being unbounded they are stepping on Muslims in Egypt and telling them whether the Muslim brotherhood has any role in the political system. The Muslim brotherhood in the mean time are very lenient towards the Copts and did not show any inclination to take them head on. They are more accommodating to the Copts beyond belief and they agree to give them full right of citizenship without restriction in the mean time that may be at the expense and sacrifice of the Islamic character of Egypt and a surrender. The Muslim brotherhood should attack back the Copts and don't turn the other cheek.

Hosney Mubarak President of Egypt is not a Dictator

Hosney Mubarak of Egypt is not a dictator but rather a president of a country that has an elected Parliament and functioning government. The problem he has been around for 30 years and the people specially the young are very, very tired of him.
His national party occupies basically all the seats of the elected Parliament and this one of the triggers that resulted in the recent massive uprising. Although there were other parties running during the last elections they were secular ones and the people did not like them or vote for them. The only true opposition that can have shared seats in the Parliament saving him from the accusation of one party monopoly was the Muslim Brotherhood and since they were banned, harassed and arrested in a large scale they did not gain seats and they actually boycotted the re-run elections. This could have saved Mubarak the recent troubles and with the total dissatisfaction of his nationalist party monopoly of power.
The presence of 88 members of the Muslim brother hood in the past Parliament did not cause any trouble what so ever and it was foolish to chase them out in the most current parliament elections.
